📢 Hear ye, brave adventurers of the Multiverse! 🌌 The moment you have eagerly awaited is upon us. 💫 Ever since the discovery of the mysterious dragon 🐉 eggs in the vast expanse of the Multiverse, many have speculated about the secrets they harbor. 🤔 The time has come to unveil the official rules for the quests to hatch these legendary treasures. 🗺️
The Seeker's Pledge: 🙏 Every quester 🕵️♂️ must first take the Seeker's Pledge, vowing to protect the Multiverse, its inhabitants, and the dragon hatchling 🐣 that will emerge. 🐉 Any harm to the dragon or misuse of its power will result in banishment from the quest. ❌🚫

🐲 COMMUNITY EVENTS
Focus: Featured Oculus Events
Challenge: Host at least 3 Meta Quest Featured Events
Rules: Each event must achieve a minimum of subscribers
Tier 1: 300 subscribers per event [we currently have contenders]
Small print: The events must be set up by the user on the app then approved by us for featuring. It does not matter where the event is held or what type of event it is. There does not need to be any connection between the events. Standard rules apply for us to approve a feature and for copyright. Events only count if held on or after the start date. The Meta Quest events list publishes the number of subscribers; this is the figure we will use to judge the milestone.
🐲 DEEP COMMUNITY
Focus: Deep links
Challenge: Create a deep link for easy access to your metaverse
Rules: Each deep link must achieve a minimum of Unique Visitors
Tier 1: At least 400 total unique visitors
Small print: There is a charge for creating a deep link. Users should contact support@ftl.ltd for information. The deep link can be associated with any location in any metaverse. Total Unique Visitors is measured according to the figure on the Meta Quest developer platform. This figure will be disclosed to any user who requests.
🐲 COMMUNITY SERIES
Focus: Series of Featured Events
Challenge: Host a series of Featured Events
Rules: Achieve a minimum number of overall subscribers
Tier 1: at least 1,000 subscribers aggregate for the series
Small print: The events must be set up by the user on the app then approved by us for featuring. It does not matter where the event is held or what type of event it is, but there should be continuity between the events. Standard rules apply for us to approve a feature and for copyright. Events only count if held on or after the start date. The Meta Quest events list publishes the number of subscribers; this is the figure we will use to judge the milestone.
🐲 COMMUNITY MEDIA
Focus: Social media video
Challenge: Post a video about multiverse on social media
Rules: Obtain a minimum number of engagements
Tier 1: At least 3,000 total engagements - achieved on 24/09/2023
Tier 2: At least 10,000 total engagements - achieved on 29/09/2023
Tier 3: At least 30,000 total engagements - achieved on 3/10/2023
Small print: Video must be at least 2 minutes long. Video must be posted on or after the start date but may use content that was made earlier Eligible platforms: TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), Threads. An “engagement” means the main metric for each of the respective platforms e.g. YouTube ‘views’, X ‘retweets’. The milestone will be measured based on the metric as published by the platform. Videos can be about any aspect of multiverse or the Infiniverse.
🐲 COMMUNITY LIVE
Focus: Facebook livestream
Challenge: Host a Facebook livestream from inside the app
Rules: Obtain a minimum of engagements for the video
Tier 1: At least 1,000 engagements - achieved on 30/09/2023
Tier 2: At least 10,000 engagements - achieved on 3/10/2023
Tier 3: At least 50,000 engagements
Small print: The livestream must be at least 15 minutes long and may be broadcast from anywhere within Multiverse. The livestream must be shown on Facebook (and other platforms if desired). The engagements can be obtained during the livestream or afterwards and will be measured as per the published metric on Facebook.
🐲 COMMUNITY HELPER
Focus: Oculus reviews
Challenge: Write a helpful review on the Oculus store
Rules: Achieve a minimum “helpful” ratings for your review
Tier 1: At least 250 helpful ratings
Small print: The review must have been written by the competition entrant and may have been written at any time, including prior to the Start Date. However, 'helpful' ratings achieved prior to the start date will not be counted. The metric will be measured according to the figure published by Oculus for “number of users who found this helpful” The review may be about any aspect of the Multiverse app.
🐲 COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Focus: App reviews
Challenge: Arrange a review of Multiverse
Rules: The reviewer must have a minimum fanbase
Tier 1: At least 20,000 followers/print run achieved on 3/21/2024
Tier 2: At least 50,000 followers/print run
Small print: Digital media provider means but is not limited to blogger, vlogger, influencer, youtube channel, digital magazine. The provider must be active on an approved platform. The “fanbase” of the provider will be measured according to the main metric used for their particular channel e.g. subscribers, followers. The list of approved platforms includes but is not limited to Youtube, Tiktok, Instagram; users wanting to use a different platform should contact us in advance to check if it can be approved. The review must be published or broadcast on or after the start date and may be about any aspect of Multiverse.
📢TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Any user can compete, regardless of their support for, or affiliation with, a district that has an egg. Users can compete in as many quests as they wish.
All metrics will be measured starting on 22 Sep 2023 at 5 pm BST ('start date').
Events, posts and other qualifying content ('content') must be created on or after the start date, unless stated otherwise.
Content can be related to any aspect of Multiverse or Infiniverse. The milestone will be granted to the first user to have achieved the active tier, based on FTL’s determination of the metrics.
Users are encouraged to contact FTL if they believe they have achieved a milestone.
The next tier will be announced after the active tier has been achieved. Unsuccessful efforts towards a tier will count towards the next tier.
Eggs will grow independently of each other, regardless of the stage achieved by other eggs.
After a milestone is achieved, FTL will contact the user to determine which egg they wish to grow.
Egg growth will occur at a time determined by FTL, in collaboration with the egg 'owner'.
When the active tier has been achieved, the quest will move to the next tier. Each tier can be reached by one person/community only.
There is no time limit for achieving a tier.
FTL’s opinion is final and it reserves the right to disqualify competitors for abusive conduct in breach of these rules.
